Punch is one of the oldest Habanos brands. Don Manuel López de Juan Valle and Cia founded the label in the mid-1800s with the idea of ​​tapping into the growing British market, when humorous publications of the same name were in vogue. The clown Mr. Punch, emblematic of the launch, continues to appear in each of the brand's boxes, holding his Havana cigars, surrounded by 19th-century images showing the Havana-making process that are nearly identical to them , can be seen today in factories in Cuba.
